You see, I know what it feels like to struggle through fear, change and loss. I lived most of my life “playing by the rules” and being what I thought everyone else wanted. I never knew who I truly was. A series of painful experiences; including divorce, the death of my mother, who suffered with Parkinson’s, and my youngest brother’s sudden death shortly thereafter, thrust me on a voyage of exploration and self-discovery. These experiences forced me to see that my life hadn’t turned out as I thought it would. I started to question why I was here.
I knew then that I didn’t want to get to the end of my life, only to look back and see all the ways in which I allowed fear to hold me back and play it safe.
Determined to create a different ending, I summoned the courage to create a new beginning. I decided to take the lead in my life and left the guilt behind. One of the outcomes of this brave new me was making the choice to leave a successful corporate HR career and create a coaching and consulting practice. Building on my strengths of resilience, courage and confidence, I shifted from living a fear based life to one of purpose and freedom. I’ve learned how to let go, have faith and believe in myself. As a result, the blessings just keep coming. Who knew by being my true self, I would discover a world of possibilities. Now, I am privileged to support others on their journey. How can I support you?
